Afflict your souls

Yeshua fulfills at His return

Note:  Afflict your souls - Hebrew word for "afflict" is 'anah which means:

[H6031] respond; make dependent; watch, eye, affliction:

The pictograph is a picture of the eye and of a seed representing continuance. Combined these mean "eye of continuance". The nomadic agriculturist carefully watches over his livestock and crops by keeping a close eye on them. It was common to construct a shelter consisting of a roof on four posts, as a shelter from the glare of the sun.  Afflict: To oppress another causing depression.

"To watch or give a response in concern; reflect on concern with deep conviction; reflect on your life on things you have done" BScott

First usage of this Hebrew word is Gen 15:13 YHWH speaking to 'Avram/Abram.
